Returning Student Re-Enrollment for 2020-21 School Year

We’re thrilled you have decided to re-enroll your student for another school year at Ingenuity Prep. Please complete the steps below to confirm your child’s seat for the 2020-21 school year.

Steps to Re-enroll Your Student at Ingenuity Prep -- Deadline: May 1, 2020

All of the following steps were included in the Re-Enrollment Packet, which can be downloaded here.

Computers with internet access are available at the school building for the purpose of assisting families in completing any online enrollment forms. We welcome you to come by the school building to complete your forms during the office hours listed below.

Re-Enrollment Office Hours: Monday through Friday from 7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.

Step 1:

Complete the Ingenuity Prep enrollment forms here. (Online only)

This form can only be completed online through the link provided above. Your SchoolMint username has been created for you; please do not create a new account. Your username is the same the one you used last year. You may use the “Forgot your password?” link if you do not remember your account password.

If you have challenges accessing the enrollment forms or need your family’s username, please call our front desk at (202) 562-0391 and we will be happy to assist you.

Step 2:

Submit the required student health documents and parent ID. (Online or In-person)

Health, Dental, and Immunization documents are required for all students. Copies of each form can be easily obtained from your student’s doctor and dentist. Copies of these forms are provided in the Returning Student Re-Enrollment Packet and can be obtained at the front desk.

Step 3:

Provide proof of D.C. residency. (In-person or email)

This step is required by law to be conducted by all D.C. schools. The D.C. Residency Verification Guide can be found in the Re-Enrollment Packet. Most D.C. Residency must be submitted in person at the school. However, beginning in April 2020, the below items may be submitted via email to

  • Paystub
  • Lease agreement and payment receipt (this option requires a second document — see Residency Verification Guide)
  • Utility bill and payment receipt (this option requires a second document — see Residency Verification Guide)

Please note that Ingenuity Prep staff will review all documents submitted and may request additional documentation or require that documents submitted electronically are re-submitted in person. Students will not be enrolled until residency verification documents are accepted.

Step 4

Sign the Ingenuity Prep Re-Enrollment Confirmation Form. (Online only)

The signing of this form marks the last step in confirming your student’s re-enrollment for the 2020-21 school year. This form has been moved to SchoolMint with other re-enrollment forms. You do not need to complete a separate paper or digital form.

All steps must be completed by May 1, 2020.


Failure to complete all steps by the deadline will result in a loss of the seat made available to your student.
